The RBC Foundation has donated $10,000 to the YWCA Peterborough Haliburton Crossroads Shelter and Nourish Food programs.
Nourish works with local agencies to get nutritious food to those who are most vulnerable to COVID-19. This includes home deliveries of food boxes to more than 225 families a week. Other people in the community have received food items monthly.
YWCA Crossroads Shelter has remained open throughout the pandemic, providing support and services for women and children fleeing abusive situations. The shelter currently has room for up to eight families with COVID-19 protocols in place. (Read more…)
