In 2023-2024, YWCA Peterborough Haliburton was able to provide safe shelter, resources, and support to hundreds of women and children escaping gender-based violence, through thousands of phone calls, counselling appointments, and outreach meetings.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’ve been able to support many more women on their Journey of Care, from fear to safety, from trauma to healing, from control to independence.
