The YWCA Peterborough Haliburton is looking for volunteers to join their Board of Directors and board committees.
The organization says volunteers should be passionate about women’s issues and have the desire to make a difference in the lives of women and children.
The YWCA is seeking women of all backgrounds, abilities and ages.
They are particularly interested in women with experience in the areas of finance, human resources, strategic planning and governance.
If you have between 10-12 hours a month to contribute and are interested in volunteering, you can submit your information online until April 1st.
New appointments will be made at the YWCA’s annual meeting in June, and you can fill out a application here.
