Christine Teixeira (right), president of the Women's Business Network of Peterborough, presents a cheque for $8,725.31 to Ria Nicholson, lead philanthropic advisor with YWCA Peterborough Haliburton. The funds, raised in December 2021 during the networking organization's annual holiday gala, will support the YWCA Crossroads Shelter for women and children fleeing violence and abuse.
