Desiree’s Ride started in 2014 to raise funds for Desiree Gallagher’s  rehabilitation and medical costs after becoming a victim of a brutal assault. The outpouring of love, hope and support was amazing. To see a community come together for a day filled with fun, great food, family, friends and complete strangers in efforts to support Desiree and her tragic journey, was nothing short of breathtaking.

After Desiree’s passing on May 14th, 2015, the organizers became more determined to make this ride an annual event while keeping Desiree’s name a legacy and create awareness.  Desiree touched so many heart’s, changed many lives and brought so many wonderful people together. She was a fighter to the end and NEVER EVER gave up. Even on her final day, Desiree continued to help others by becoming an organ donor and saved 5 other lives.
