Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough announces $130K in grants to 26 groups for projects

The Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough announced $130,000 in grants to 26 local charities on Tuesday at St. John’s Anglican Church Guild Hall.

The grants will support projects that encourage participation in activities and events to mark Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

The recipients are: the Canadian Canoe Museum, the Curve Lake Cultural Centre, the Kawartha World Issues Centre, Habitat for Humanity, Otonabee-South Monaghan Township for Keene community celebrations, Bedford House, Camp fYrefly, the New Canadians Centre, the ReFrame Film Festival, The Warming room … (Read more…)
