When we see a gap in a service that’s needed, we ask ourselves “Is there already someone doing this work?” If the answer is yes, we refer women and children there. And if it’s no, we get to work, building partnerships with other agencies in order to make sure women and children get the services they need.

Here at the YWCA, we’re constantly working to leverage the expertise of existing local agencies so we can fill gaps in services without duplicating work. We have a long track record of being a great collaborator, as well as a strong leader in collaborative projects, and we seek new opportunities to create partnerships that will benefit the community.
